Educational Objectives
- To provide each student with not only a thorough and systematic understanding of the inspired Word of God, but also with the practical aspects of hands-on ministry within the context of a local church structure.
- To nurture the spiritual life and character of each student through; the dynamic teaching of sound doctrine, pasto rally applied correction, the godly examples of peers and leadership, an intensive prayer life, and an aggressive approach to lifestyle evangelism.
- To guide each student in the development and application of a theologically sound biblical world view to better enable them to pursue God's destiny for their life whether it be in a secular or religious environment.

- He has been ordained and in ministry for 37 years, has travelled extensively throughout the world, and is the Dean of CBI.
- Jerry McKinney
- BA in Ministry – Southeastern University, 1976
- He is the founding Pastor of the City Church and President of CBI.
- He has been ordained for 31 years and has also served The City Church of Seattle as their Executive Pastor for 5 years.
- Tamela McKinney
- Diploma (2 year) – Portland Bible College, 1976, Oregon
- BS Teaching Degree (4 yr) – Warner Pacific College, 1979, Portland, Oregon
- She co-founded the City Church with her husband, is ordained and the Executive Pastor with 10 years ministerial experience.
- Myles Vandergrift
- BA in Biology – Point Loma Nazarene University, 1989

- He is a licensed minister with 12 yrs. experience as a Youth Pastor and teacher.
- Emilie Schneider
- BA in Philosophy and Theology – Point Loma Nazarene University, 2004
- She is currently pursuing her M.Div. – 2 years at Fuller Theological Seminary and is now enrolled in the M.Div. program at Azusa Pacific University.
- She has 2 years of part time experience.
- Marco Contreras
- BA in Arts – University of San Diego
- He is currently the Youth Pastor of Generation Church; the Youth Ministry of The City Church San Diego.
- He is a liscenced minister with 2 years experience.
